The annual banque of the Dramatic section of the Woman's Club was' served last night in the Industrial rooms. The tables were attractively I decorated with garden flowers and : rose tapers, Mrs. Martin Van Alsberg had charge of the decorations. A twocourse dinner was served, after wljich Miss Virginia Beverforden, popular reader of Fort Wayne, entertained the members with an hour’s program. Plans were discussed for the ensuing year. The committee tn charge of the dinner included Mrs. J. 8. Peterson and Mrs. J. R. Blair. Eight now members were received into the department last night. They are the Misses Vera Butler, Helen Kocher. Marjorie May, Marcella Hower. Mild red Lidy, Verneal Whalen, and Naomi Durkin, and Mrs. Leah Ehinger. The first meeting of the Research Club for this club year was held yes lerday afternoon at the home of Mrs. J. C. Sutton. Mrs. Eley had charge of the interesting program on "Women in Government Work." Mrs. Eley read a very interesting paper, after which sub topics were given by- the members. Tw-enty-one members were in attendance. The officers for the year are Mrs. A. J. Haney, president Mrs. Carrie Haubold. secretary, and Mrs. O. L. Vance, treasurer. The
