Further evidence that the people have decided that President Coolidge and his high tariff attitude to not conducive to prosperity was manifested this week in the nomination of Gerald Nyo, a non partisan leaguer, for Unit’d States senator from North Dakota. He defeated L. B. Hanna, who ran on a straight Coolidge platform. Hanna ran ahead in the cities but when the rural vote came in he was snowed under. The farmers seem to have their eyes and cars wide open. • Everything is set for the big celebration at Bellmont park on the Fourth and with good weather th t crowd will be a record breaker. Ther? will be surprises on the program and you will get many times your moneys worth.
