John D. Williams, state road director, reported in the commission's traffic bulletin issued today. Report from field workers to the commission's offices show that paving contracts are being pushed and that maintenance forces are keeping the stone and gravel surface mileage in splendid shape to meet the increased daysdemands of summer traffic. New pavement on No. 19 south of Veedcre burg will be opened to traffic in a few days and another detour ou this important trunk liue between Evansville and Chicago will be removed, Williams said.
