The closing event of the I’si lota Xi convention, which has been in session at Fort Wayne for the past two days, was held last evening in the ball room at the Anthony Hotel, when an elaborate banquet was served to 125 guests. The room was decorated in the Sorority colors, of blue and gold. The tables were arranged in diamond shape with baskets of delphinium and yellow daisies placed ""at intervals. Plans were • made tor the dedication of the shelter house at the Riley Memorial Hospital at Indianapolis. The shelter house was a gift of the Sorority made to the hospital at the convention a year ago. The mid-year convention will be held in Indianapolis in February. The members of the local chapter, who attended the closing event of the twenty-second annual convention of the Sorority, were Mesdames .1. H. Burroughs, E. B. Adams, la-igh Bowen, Charles Knapp. F. E. Vail, A. F. Stalter, C. O. Porter, C. ('. Pumphrey, arid the Misses Mary Callow, Marcella Kern and Helen Swearingen. The Delta Theta Tau Sorority will hold au important meeting at the home of Miss Margaret Holthouse Friday evening, at 8 o’clock. Initiation will be held and all members are urged to be present. The attendance of every member is urged. Miss Genevieve Berling was hostess to the members of the Bridge club last evening at her home on fourth street.
