The organzation Is doing a number of things for that community which well help every one. Curley McCullum, of Geneva, visited here last evening and motored on to Fort Wayne. Crownover, of Decatur route nine, underwent a tonsillatomy at the local hospital thia morning and Is recovering nicely. Mrs. P. N. Moser, of Berne route one, was admitted to the Adams County Memorial Hospital this morning, where she will receive medical treatment. o— ~ „ RELEASE OF U. S. CITIZENS HELI) IN MEXICO DEMANDED (CONTINIKD FROM PAGB OKE> ranch. Shanklin is one of five Americans now held for ransom by Mexican bandits. The American embassy here has reuested that no effort be spared to free the men and that federal troops be used to capture the bandits. Two Americans, Briggs and Greeley, are reported to be held for a ransom of 500 pesos each. A captain and 15 soldiers from Camp Palma have proceeded to Galichar to search for them. They found that the bandits had removed telephones and burned nearby bridges. — o Two Automobiles Collide At Street Intersection One person was slightly injured in an automobile accident which occured at the intersection of Adams and Fourth streets at 0:30 o'clock last night. A car driven by Frank McCollum, of Cincinnati, Ohio, going west on Adams street, collided with a car driven by Frank Click, as Mr. Click turned his car into Fourth street fl Mrs. (Tick, who was riding with her husband, suffered a few cuts and bruises, but was not seriously hurt. Mr. Click. Mr. McCollum and the latter’s wife and son. escaped injury. Mr. Click's car. a Ford, was badly damaged. Mr. McCollum and family were enroute to Geneva to visit relatives. Bluffton. —Arthur Shed was severely injured on his grandparents' farm near here when a cow Which he was milking turned on him and gored him. He suffered several fractured ribs, a strained back and internal injuries.
