L 1 Receives Valuable News In Regards To Franklin Road John 11. Williamson, president of tho Benjamin Franklin Highway Association, has received further word from* Washington. D. C„ outlining a route from Omaha. Neb, to the coast and it will no doubt be adopted by. the association which is making every! effort to cooperate with the authorities at the capitol. Mr. Williamson, also says that the Ohio vice-presij dents are to meet this week to take, ’ steps to have the strip of road from ■ the Indiana state Tine to Ottawa and another from Findlay to Tiffin, put on the Federal Aid list. .The strfp from the state line to Huntington, 1 Indiana is already on. Mr. WilliamIson will go to Peoria, ill., to address the organization of that state on May! 17. He will leave Findlay on the 16 and expects to stop here a short time’ to see the boosters. The list of vice-presidents, about four to each state, are now being se-i lected and will be announced in a; short time. Progress is being made and it is the general opinion that the highway will soon be recognized as the main east and west military road in the northern section of the United States O — Standard Oil Company Pays 62 Vz Cent Cash Dividend Chicago, May 3.—(United Press)—) Directors of the Standard Oil Company of Indiana today declared a cash dividend of 63 1-2 cents and an extra cash dividend of 25 cents on each share of capital stocks.
