April 14 — (United Press)—The next annual meeting of the North Indiana Conferenc of the Methodist church will find a censer enthroned to cast a critical eye over nows stories wining from the conference. Ministers of the conference before final adjournment, yesterday, voted unanimously to provide an official censor at the 1927 conference hi Goshen. The action was proposed by Rev. C. A. Hile, of Middlebury, zbe-auso publicity given misconduct. charges considered by the ministers against Prof. Walter Bundy, of DePauw University. Rev. Guy Perfect, under sentence of two to twenty-one years imprisonment for criminal assault, today was adjusting his business affairs preparatory to going to the state prison. Perfect, whose appeal for a new trial was denied by the state supreme court, returned from Florida and surrendered to Sheriff Rudicel. CHILD HEALTH DAY ON MAYI Tuberculosis Association Asked To Help In Holding Observance Indianapolis, Ind., April 14 (United Press) —An appeal was made today by the Indiana Tuberculous Association to the 92 county associations throughout the slate to aid in observance of child health day, on May 1. The county associations were asked . to join with other health agencies preparing programs for the day in each community. Emphasis will he placed by the state tuberculosis authorities on better dental care, more careful diet, adequate I -deep in the open air and ‘other modern health precautions in arranging programs for the day. "Thousands of children throughout the state will benefit immeasurably from the education that is to be spread in schools, homes anti elsewhere in | the annual May Day effort," said Miss Marjorie Smith. Miss Smith, who Is director of child health education of the State Tuberculosis Association, has been in close I tontact wit hthe state hoard of health in laying plans for the association’s work on Child Health Day. The day is officially sponsored by the child hygiene division of the state boar dos health. May 1., has also | been set aside as Child Health Day by the American Child Health Association and the United States Children's bureau.
