COUNTY TOURNEY PLANS JRGRREO High School Principals Vote To Drop Plans For Co., Basketball Meet The Adams county high school bar-. ketball tournaAient will not be held on February 13, as formerly planned, ac cording to action taken by the high school principals at a meeting held at the home of Clifton Striker, county inperintendcnt of schools, last night. Since the sectional tournament, to be aeld here the first March will be par . ticipated in by Adams county teams.' only, it was deemed (inadvisable to hold another county tournament. Tin- principals voted to hold a county eighth grade tournament. It will be held during the second half of February. Each town in tin- county may enlor a team in Hie tournament ami each town may enter one team in addition to the town team. The tourna-! ment will be held in this city on Sat-, unlay. I f lans for the county track’and field meet and the musical and litejary contests, to be held next spring, were discussed by the principals last night, but no definite action was taken. Committees to make arrangements for the vent were appointed by Mr. Striker. Following the meeting, refreshments were served.
