I ) I ft w * ■ gfc ■ 'IJ The ceaselses activity of each day crowds-out the vision of the Eternal. Men in Decatur live not too much in the NOW but too little in the ETERNAL. Th- sense of the eternal needs to h- revived. There is need for a return to God, Who is the source of our life and all our good. The individual, and no less the social life, of Decatur should undergo a definite regeneration. Decatur should be more Christian. Hence these services. R. W. Loose, pastor

METHODIST EPISCOPAL CHURCH — f The Why of the simultaneous campaign in Decatur. The chief business of these meetings is to make the people of this community wise unto salvation. | We are rapidly becoming a spirit- ' nal’y i’litorate nation. Intellectual* ly. socially, commercially, morally and even religiously, American life is becoming more and more shallow and loss concerned about living on the highest levels. We need a new recognition of the presence of God. We need a keener sense of sin. We need to sense anew our need of a Saviour from sin. We need the spirit o& self-surrend-er to Christ as the Only-Saviour. We need to incarnate Him in our I hearts. We need the inner witness of the ,Holy Spirit to the fact that He is ■ there. i
