The regular meeting of the Woman’s Club will be held Monday evening at the Library. at 8:30 o’clock. Heller won high score of the guests and Mrs. William Bowers had high score of the club members. A lunch of pretty appointments was i served at the conclusion of the games. Tiny snow men were given as favors. Mrs. France Confer will entertain in two weeks. Mrs. T. F. Graliker was hostess to the Bachelor Maids last evening. At six-thirty o’clock the guests were entertained at dinner at the home of Mrs. Maude Dorwin after which tables were arranged for Five Hun dred at the Graliker home. Mrs. Dick Boch and Miss Bertha Voglewede won club prizes and Mrs. Wai Wcmhoff won guest prize. The Pocahontas Lodge will have • installation of officers tonight at 7:30 o’clock at the Red Men Hall. B.'—(United Press)— Charging that the people of Illinois are suffering froth jllegatwlental prae-' tice, and that the state department of registration and education is not prop l erly pressing complaints, the Chicago Dental Society lias appropriated $3,090 to be used jn exposing alleged fraudulent practitioners. This action, the society said, follows numerous complaints received from citizens who claim to have suffered from the ignorance of dentists treating them. Dr. Frank J. Bernard, chairman of the committee on infractions and laws, promises drastic prosecution of what he terms these “crooks and quacks.’’
