Yellow Jackets To Play Columbia City Tonight Coach Kennedy and eight Decatur high school Yellow Jackets will leave uhis city about 3:30 o’clock this after•noon by motor for Columbia City, where the Decatur team will meet the 'Columbia City quintet tonight. The second team did not make the trip. On Saturday night, the Yellow Jacket varsity and reserves and the Central school eighth grade team will go to Bluffton to play return games. A large crowd of local fans is expected to accompany the teams to Bluffton. Catholic High Plays At Fostoria, Ohio, Tonight Coach France Conter, Father Otto Peters ami the Catholic high school basketball team will leave Decatur at 2 o’clock this afternoon for Fostoria, Ohio, wheer the green clad eagers will play the Catholic high school team of Fostoiia tonight. The team took the interurban to Fort Wayne and planned to proceed to Fostoria over the Nickel Plate from that city. The team likely will return over the Erie from Lima early tomorroy morning. o Preble Panthers Defeat Spencerville Team, 29-26 The Preble Panthers defeated the Spencerville independent basketball team at Spencerville last night, 29-26, in a fast and interesting game. The Spencerville team held a two-point lead at the end of the half, 14-12. Corson, with nine points to his credit, was high point man of the game. Preble will play Linn Grove at Berne tonight.
