Shifferly, Saturday evening, in honor of their daughter, Doris. her sixteenth birthday anniversary. The guests presented her with many beautiful presents. Those present were the Misses Rogetta Bittner, Bertha Heath. Margaret Walters, Marie Hilton, Iris Hilton. Hazel Hilton, Opal Walters, Mr. Glen Jackson, Lee Miller, Ben McCullough, glone Gaunt, Earl Harffian, George Hindenlang, Raymond Walters, Ivan Shifferly Eldred Shifferly, Mr. and Mrs. Otis E. Shifferly and children, Erniel Dale, and Mildred. The evening was spent playing ntuisic and games. At a late hour a delicious lunch was served. The Misses Josephine and Mary Suttles entertained the members of the Tri Kappa Sorority at their annual Christmas party and exchange at their home on Fifth street last evening. A large lighted Christmas tree, elaborately decorated, was placed at one end of the living room. At sixthirty, a buffet supper was served to the large number of guests present. Stunts were given and the guests presented with clever favors, after which the exchange of gifts was held. Out-of-town guests were Mrs. J. R. Peterson. of Terre Haute; Mrs. Wm. Briggs, of Nashville, Tenn.; Mrs. Dwight Peterson, of Indianapolis; Mis. Felix Holthouse, of Lexington. Ky.; Mrs H. H. Stoner, of Cleveland. Ohio; Miss Helen Dugan, Pittsfield, Mass.; and Miss Victoria Mills, of Roann. The girls home from school who attended were Miss LeeAun Vance, of Ferry Hall. Lake Forest, lit.; Misses Lois Peterson and Mary Burk, of Indiana Cniversity, Bloomington; Lucille Engle, of Madam Blaker’s School, at Indianapolis; Josephine Suttles, of Ohio Wesleyan, at Delaware, Ohio; Miss Mildred Leonard, of Battle Creek Physical Culture School, Battle Creek, Mich. The patronesses. Mrs, Dan Sprang and Mrs. John Tyndall, were honored guests. _
