Five Shakes Jinx And Wins First Game Os Season, Score 26-23 Decatur high school's Yellow Jackets, aroused by consecutive swats from six enemy teams, were a determined bunch of fighters when they took the floor against the Angola high school ca gers at Angola last night, and when the forty minutes of battling was over, t hf> Yellow Jackets had scored their first victory of the season, 2623. The Angola team, showing a great Improvement over its other games of this season, put up a stubborn fight a ml came from behind in the middle of the second half, only to be nosed out in the last five minutes by the fighting Yellow Jackets. The game was fast and interesting. Neither team held a decided advantage during the contest, but the Yellow Jackets led 10-9 at the end of the half. Angola made only one field goal during the first half, but the home team kept in the running by scoring on seven out of nine chances from the foul line. Three field goals, each by Strickler and Joe Bebout, in the second half, and two free throws each by Strickler and Reynolds, won the game for Decatur in the second half. Owing to the hard fight put up by both teams, many fouls were called. Eleven personal fouls were called on Decatur and thirteen on Angola. Angola committed one technical foul, also. The long, cold ride from Decatur to Angola in automobiles had its effect on the Yellow Jackets, but they had
