The Blue Prints surely must have felt blue after the game with Catholic high hqre last night. They were out of their class. "Taler" Knapke gave a good account of himself last night in his first start with the Catholic High varsity. He had tough luck on several shots at the start of the game or he would have boosted his team’s scoye several points. In spite of the fact that the mercury out-doors is Covering far below the freezing point, it will be plenty warm enough in the D. H. S. gym tonight for the Yellow Jackets to do their stuff. Wow! Listen to what one of Rip Offs’ contributors say» about us: “Dear Mr. Rip-Offs: y "In a recent isue of your paper I read an article published by Mark M. Upp at Decatur. five games in as many matches. If that bird svants to writ ‘’gruesome” news he doesn’t need to leave the city limits of Decatur. ‘ Thank you, TIGER CUB. "P. S. —The Yellow Jackets acs one of the few teams that make the Tigers look like a basketball team." We can soon tell which one looks the most like a basketball team. Our schedule reads, Bluffton at Decatur, December 29. and Decatur at Bluffton, January 2. It has been said that Decatur won’t support a losing team. Although the Yellow Jackets lost four straight games before last Friday night, one prominent Decatur citizen paid a $3.50 taxi bill to get back to Decatur in time for the game with Fort Wayne Central. And he says he got his money’s worth.
