/ ■ If JL i.lf fl/A m foICKNAME FOR NET TEAM Catholic High To Hold Contest To Select Nick-name For Quintet Father Otto Peters, manager of athletics at Decatur Catholic high jchool, and France Conter, athletic cogch, today decided upon a contest to select a nick-name for the Catholic High basketball team- For the last two years there has been a de--Bire among fans and the players on the team for an appropriate nickname. Practically all teams have a fighting nick-name, which is short and snappy, and is easily worked into yells and songs. According to the plans for the contest agreed upon, all persons who attend the game between Catholic High and the Fort Wayne Blue Prints here Thursday night are entitled to submit a suggestion for a name. The suggestions are to be placed in a box at the door Thursday night. A committee, yet to be named, will go over the list of suggestions after the game and sometime within the next few days a title for the team will be chosen. To the person suggesting the name chosen, a season ticket to the home games to be plajed by the team this season will be given. Coach Conter has been working his men hard this week in preparation for the game Thursday night. Hie visitors are strong and a fast fame is expected. A good preliminary game will be played by the Catholic high second team and an opponent yet to be chosen.
