MONROE LOSES HARD GAME.IB-17 Failure To Score On Free Throws Costs Team Victory In Poling Come Inability to scot* on free throws cost the Monroe high school basketball team u victory at Pennville Saturday night, in a game with the Pol t Ing qnlntet. The final score was IS-! 17 in favor of Poling. Out of 20 chances from the foul lino, j the Monroe eagers scored on only four attempts. The Poling team scored five points on free throws out of i 12 attempts. Muncie Central has a real bail club. In George and Joris, the Eear Cats have a pair of high class forwards. In the game with Fort Wayne Central Saturday night, Coach Merrick tried to play the tecond half without his two stars, but the Tigers crept up on the Muncie team and when the lead was cut to two points.
