The next meeting will be held in two weeks with Miss Marie Gass. Mrs. V. J. Ihirman was an out-of-town guest. The pot luck d-'nner which, was to have been served at the Rebekah hall for the members Tuesday evening has been postponed! All mem bera are urged to note the change. The Ladies’ Aid Society of the Evangelical church met in the clHirch parlors Thursday afternoon. Forty members were in agtendance and the Novfemfotr se<h|ion turned over 043.43 to the treasurer. A parrel post sale was held In connection with the meeting Plans were made for the annual Thanksgiving dinner which will be served at. the church Thursday, November 19. from 11 to 1 o'clock. Tickets for the dinner will lie fifty cents and may be pur chased from any member or at the door. A two-cent supper will be served from 5 to 7 o’clock Thursday evening. The liberal patronage of the public is solicited. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Pumphrey and daughter. Eleanor. Dr. Grandstaff and his guest, Mr. Smith, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Burdg attended the Tenth annual banquet of Class No 10, which was spread at the new Shrine Temple, at Berry and Ewing streets. Fort Wayne, last night. These banquets are greatly enjoyed by the members and their wives. The class is very pro«<l ot the fact that they are the only class that have continued meetings from year to year. A good program was given by the officers in charge. Dr. W. O. M< Bride, of Fort Wayne, gave a very 4nteieating talk on his trip abroad. The annual roll call was given and each member present responded After the banquet those who had not had the opportunity ot visiting the new building were given the privilege at that timq. Much complaint has come to the city street commissioner of violation of this 01 dmance and it is with the view of keeping our alleys clean that this ordinance will be enforced. As a public-spirited citizen please help keep the alleys clean. Nothing icflects on civic pride more than dirty and cluttered up alleys and the ci y ordinance will be enforced to curb the practice of dumping ashes and rubbish in the alleys. Mhes Blanc h McCrory, chairman, has sent out postal cards to the graduates out! former teacher* of the school, telling about the homecoming to be held at the high school building December 28th and asking for reservations for the banquet to be held at 6 o'clock that evening They will appreciate an early reffly so that plans can be made to take care of the crowd. A father and son meeting will lie held in the various churches of Decatqr next Tuesday evening and in several of them banquets will be given. The event should be a very happy one. Miss Lucy Butler returned to her home at Fort Wayne today after a short visit with her aunt. Mrs. Licy Colehin. E. 11.
