SMALL DOLLAR COIN PLANNED Government Experimenting With Combination (Jold And Silver Dollar Washington, Nov., 13 -Admitting fuljuri l to popularise the rilver dollar •.nd the *2 hill, treasury officials virtually have decided to mint a new coin, a combination gold and silver dollar, because of the rapid deterioration of paper money. Experiments are now being made for a coin of smaller size than the present $1 “cartwheel," to be distinctive In appearance to prevent it being mistaken for any other coin.
