Anna Brinkley, a daughter of Mr. Hill, returned from the south to Eact Chicago, Indiana. Mrs. Carrie Ball and daughters, of Muncie, Were week-end guests of Mrs. John Tyner. Roy Johnson left today for Walton and Galveston, Indiana, to conduct sales of dairy cattle and from there he will go to Kansas, Illinois, where three thousand head of Hereford feeder calves will be sold at auction. ' Dr and Mrs. L. P. Meyer and family of Convoy, Ohio, were guests of relatives in this city Sunday, Mrs. Mary Clark, Mrs. Mae Meibers, of this city, stud Mrs> Dan Falk and children of Peru, spent the weekend at Anderson with Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Anirine. Mrs. Clark and Mrs. Meibers returned today 1 and Mrs. Falk and children returned to Peru from there. Miss Mayme Deininger made a business trip to Fort Wayne this morning. Virgil Simmons, of Bluffton, was here on business this afternoon. John 11. Harvey the Monroe real estate man was here this afternoon. Guy KehJer, of Huntington, visited friends here last evening. Miss Mildred Butler spent Sunday in Fort Wayne visiting with relatives. Mr. and Mrs- David Adams motored to Toledo, Ohio, where they spent the week-end visifing with relatives. o Mrs, C. J. Voglewede To Undergo Operation Mrs. J. Voglewede was taken to the St. Joseph hospital. Fort Wayne, today where she will undergo an operation. Her condition is not serious and it is thought that she will get along nicely. .Mr. Voglewede accompanied his wife to the hospital this morning. Prisoner Says He Got Liquor At Decatur (Jarage Bluffton, Nov. 9—Lee Speigle, who was arrested Friday fir intoxication, by Officer Eli Miller, is still in jail. In talking to the sheriff, Speigle stated he and Jack Hankins obtained the liquor from a garage at Decatur. Speigie's case ( will be tried soon.
