Bishop, John F. Noll of Port Wayne. The confirmation services will take place during the 9:45 high mass. It Is an old saying that "the best article? come in small packages.” This saying may be aptly applied to the high scljoo lorchestra as well as to the school itself. The orchestra made its debut into society at the commencement exercises last June and its efforts met with great applause. The members have reorganized this year under the direction of Sr. John
'Berchmanns and have been practising faithfully. They will make their second public appearance on Dedication Day whffll they will play several musical selections as their contrlbutio nto the program. The high school orchestra numbers the following members: Margaret Voglewede. pianist; Bernardino Christian, violinist; William Klepper, violinist; Helen Schmitz, violinist; Cedric Voglewede, cornetlst; Cornelius Durkin, saxophone player; Donald Klepper, drummer. o —i Long Search For An Alleged Murder Ends Chicago, Oct. >. — (United Press.) —An eighteen months quest for an alleged murder ended here last night, when Edward Fitzgerald, alleged Chicago gunman, wanted in connection with the murder of Thad Fancher, a i Crown Point, Indiaha lawyer, was ari rested. Fitzgerald refused to sign a waiver • and return to the Indiana town with authorities who called for him. He will ask for a writ of habeas corpus. John O'Reilly is now serving a life term in the Indiana state prison for his part in the Fancher slaying, and i Alexander McCabe was recently ' acquitted on a charge of murder in connection with the slaying. o - • Auburn. — Auburn automobile company here is to build a new four-story office building.
