prince is home London Welcomes Home The Prince Os wales After He Spends Six Months In Cruising. ■ London. Oct 16- Britain’s roving prince today returned to his home shores. „ . When word reached this city that I( m. S Repulse, which had carried the prince of Wales to Africa and South America in a six months rrtiise. had arrived at Spithead shortly before 9 o’clock the crowds began to gather by thousands at the many towered Victoria stations. The duke of York and Prince I Henry motored down to Portsmouth and greeted their zrother when the ' Repulse anchored. Princess Mary will await the arrival of the royal train at Victoria. A rousing reception, indicative of the one to greet the prince upon his arrival in London later in the morning, was given him x at Portsmouth. Mr. Kalver's sons came to Decatur and arranged to have Barney spend his remaining years either at Fort Wayne or Chi cago. but he refused to do this, saying that he would rather live here among his friends. Barney occupied a room at the J. W. Meibers home, across from the Murray hotel, for the last two years Yesterday, Mr. Kalver appeared in good health. He was a strong Washington baseball fan, and he listened to the final game of the series yesterday over a radio. Last night, he went to the Masonic dub rooms and later went Rome, apparently in fair health, at about 9 •’clock. At 2 o’clock this morning, Mr. Ka'ver became ill with indigestion and other complications. His heart was unable to withstand the attack and he slowly sank. His two sons were notified and both left their homes at once for the bedside of their father. Mr. and Mrs. I. A JCalver and son, Roy. arrived here early this morning- J. B. Kalver, of Chicago, arrived at noon. The remains will lie in state at the J. W Meibers home in this city tomorrow. Sunday morning the body will be’ taken to the I. A. Kalver home, lit! W. Rudisill boulevard at Fort Wayne. Funeral services will be held front that place at 10 o’clock Monday morning. The Decatur Masons will have a short service and the rest of the service will be in harge of Rabbi S. H. Markowitz and Rabbi Jacob Waldman.
