YELLOW JACKET IINEUP CHANCED (oath Marshall Makes Several Shifts In Preparaing For Portland Game Several changes have been made in the lineup ot the Yellow Jacket foothal team in preparation for the game w,th Portland high s<h«H>l at Portland. Saturday. Coach Marshall has shifted several players in hopes of strengthening the team. The backfield has been braced considerably with the return of "lied" Acker to the fold. Acker will play half back and call signals in the game Saturday. Captain Joe Bebout has been -shifted from bls position at left end to full back Bogner, who has been playing full back has been moved up to loft tackle, filling the place held by Anderson tn recent games. Zwkk, who has been playing quarter bar k, has been shifted to left end. to fill Beboul’s old position, and Reynolds, a substitute half hack, lias been placed in the quarter back position. Moser has quit the squad and Covault will be used in his place at halfback. Coach Marshall will take sixteen players to Portland. Several automobile loads of fans will accompany the team. Coach Stagg's Chi lingo Maroons defending their 1924 | title against the onslaught of Ohio State and Michigan taking on Indiana at Ann Arbor. Chicago uncovered none of its strength in defeating Kentucky over last week end and is expected to show plenty of new plays against the Buckeyes. Ohio is viewed as a possible contender, however, and should force the Maroons about to the limit. Indiana showed unexpected strength last Saturday in running up a 31 to t> score against the state normal and may cause some trouble for "Hurry l'p" Yost's Wolverines. Michigan, however, is the favorite. While the other six members of the Big Ten will be engaged in games, none of them will have any bearing on the championship. Illinois will have another opportun ity to build up its strength by meeting Btuler at Urbana. lowa wil take on St. Louis university at lowa City; Minnesota meets Grinnell at Minneapolis; Northwestern will stand off the invasion of Carleton; Purdue's Boilermakers clash with Depauw; and Wisconsin's fast improving Biulg ers take on franklin at Madison.
