SPRAY FUNERAL SET FOR FRIDAY (Continued from page one) Meyers Tobacco company as a salesman. He worked several years in this capacity with headquarters In Frankfort. *ln 1914 lie purchased a picture allow in Beloit, Win., and later bought theatres iii Sheridan and Covington. Iml. In 1917 he organized the Columbia Amusement company which operated the Uflnn, Royal and Princess theatres in Frankfort. He was made manager oi the corporation and served in that capacity until 1919, when lie purchased theatres in i Montpelier and Blufftou aud moved his family to Bluff ton. Later he sold these theatres and purchased theatres ill Decatur. While in Decatur lie built the Adams theatre, one of the most beautiful theatres of its size In Indiana. He managed this theatre until his late illness developed and forced his retirement. While a resident of Frankfort, on December 31, 1901. he was married to Miss Alma Lung, who died ill July, 1922. He was a member of the Christian church of Frankfort, and fraternally, was affiliated with the Masonic lodge. Survivors are two sisters. Mrs. H. Maxwell, and Mrs Ferd Aughe; one brother. E. A Spray, all of Frankfort and one daughter. Miss Madge Spray, of Bluffton. ’No Verdict Returned In Vinton, lowa, Murder Case Vinton, la., Oct. 1. — (United Press) —The coroner's jury hearing evidence in the case of Mrs. Myrtle Cook, slain temperance worker today returned a verdict recommending that the murder investigation be continued "as to Clifford It. Cook." husband of the murdered woman. The jury -has been in session off and on for three weeks. Approximately forty wintesses were examined.
