THREE RACES RUN THURSDAY Sam Axworthy, Fast Pacer, Breaks Leg; Split Heats In Two Events Another program of interest to race funs was carried out yesterday, with split heats in two of the events. Froggie took the 2:25 pace in straight heats, hut had to drive for them. The second event, the twenty-five trot, was marred by the injury of one ot the fast horses, Sam Axworthy, owned by George Foster, of Ligonier, and driven by Beck. The gelding had finished second in the first heat and ; first in the second, in the third heat ! he was in second place when he broke ' and, as he rounded the turn at the first quarter, lurched forward with a broken hind leg. The splendid animal was shot an hour or so later, after ft was determined nothing could be done for him. Princess McKinney won the race by taking the third and fourth

beats. The 2:12 pace was a race all the way. Bubbles nosed out the first hem and then lost the next two to p r i nei . A. after a battle every inch ot the mile. Walters, and daughter, Marjorie, of Marion, are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. M. J. Wertzberger for a few days. Wendell Reed and Bob Cummins, of Bluffton, attended the fair and the dance here last evening. The Key to Success Success depends pißmarily on a healthy liver and stomach. You can not think straight if these organs are not working properly. Mayr’s Wonderful Remedy is usually successful in such cases. Our advice to everyone troubled in this way. especially wh«n accompanied with bloating in th stomaeh, is to try this remedy. I: is a simple, harmless preparation that removes the catarrhal mucus from the intestinal tract and allays the, inflammation which causes practically all stomach, liver and intestinal ail ments. including appendicitis..
