The small admission of 25 cents for adults and 15 cents for children wi.l be charged Erwin-Keenan The manage of Miss Ruth Keenan, daughter of Mrs. Mary Keenan, c.f Fort Wayne, and Mr. David Erwin, son of the late Richard Erwin, former judge of this city, and Mrs Ltiella Erwin, of Fort Wayne, was solemnizeii in the rectory of the Cathedra' of the Immaculate Conception at Fort Wayne Wednesday morning, at nisi o’clock. The bride was attended by her sister. Miss ('.race Keenan, and Mr. Guy Means served as best man. The Rev. Father Thomas Conroy rend the nuptial service. Immediately after tlie ceremony a wedding breakfast of pretty appointments was served to the members of the imm.dhite families at the Hotel Keenan. During the dinner hour, a musicale was presented, Mrs. Josephine Albert-Horton playing the harp. An informal reeep lion was held on the mezzanine floor. The couple left on a motor trip to the east. They will stop at Philadelphia and take a boat trip to Miami. Florida, where they will reside. The bride attended St. Marys College. . nd is a member of the Psi lota Xi sorority, and the E. Jane Hamilton society. Mr. Erwin was graduated from Purdue University and is a member of the Siems fraternity. -i; prominent in musical circles in Fort Wayne, being an accomplished singer. Those who attended the affair from here were Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Erwin and Mr. and Mrs. Dore Erwin. The members of the United Itrethern Church will give a farewell reception for the Rev. 11. F. Dotson at the church Friday evening. A pot ’nek supper will be served. All members of the church and all ministers of the city are invited to atend Final plans and arrangements were made at the meeting of the Psi Icta Xi sorority at the home of Mrs. Leigh Bowen, Tuesday evening, for the conducting of a refreshments stand at the Northern Indiana Fair next week. Mrs A. F. Stalter, a member of the sorority, who is moving to Portland this week, was presented with a beautiful gift from the sorority. Other business matters were disposed of after which the hostess served delectable refreshments. The next meeting "ill be held in two weks at the home of Mrs. Sim Burk. Sept. 10 — Governor Jackson yesterday reappointed Newman T. Miller to a four-year term as state fire marshal. The governor also reappointed William Hough to the state tax board for a four year term. Sept. 10. —(United Press) George Wallace, a fugitive from the state penal farm at Putnamville, today faced a sentence of two to five years for jail-breaking. Wallace was captured here when a policeman found him at work tearing down a house.
