Neuenschwander-Bixler Reunion The third annual reunion of the Nouenschwander-Bixler Families was held Sunday, August 18, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clayton McCune, near Bern». The morning was spent in reaewing acquaintances. At noon a delicious dinner was served, and the afternoon was spent in enjoying games_ Music and other entertainment. A business meeting was held in the afternoon. at which time the following officers were elected: President. Blossom Reunion The fourth annual reunion of the Blossom family was held last Bunday at Bellmont Park, with about seventy--1 five members in attendance. Whitesell Franz A beautiful and impressive cere mony celebrated the marriage of the Rev Faria D Whitesell, paetor of toe First Baptist Church, of this city, and! Mtes lileno Frans, who until recently mas one of the nurses at the Adams County Memorial hospital, at the home j of the brides parent , Dr. and Mrs Ernqst Fraat, at Herne, at eight thirty 'oclo<k this morning. A profusion ot garden flowers was used in the de coration of the home An improvised altar, banked with ferns aud flowers in a color scheme of yellow and whitg decorated the living room, in which the ceremony was performed. Miss lima Franz sang "Until" and Mrs. 'W. A. Howe sang “I Love You Truly” . preceding the ceremony, Mendels sorn's Wedding March was played by , Miss Agnes Franx. a sister of the bride , while the bride entered on the arm of her father. They were met at the alftar by the groom and Dr. George W. Taft, president of the Northern Bap tist Theological Seminary, of Chicage , who received the vowg of the single ring ceremony. Little MaryAlice Howe, niece of the bride, wearing a frock of baby blue crepe de chine with cape, attended as ring bearer, carrying the ring on a white satin ' pillow. The bride wore a beautiful white gown of georgette, fashioned with white silk lace over a slip of sat in crepe She wore white kid footwear, long white silk,gloves and car ried a shower bouquet of Kilarney roses and snap dragons. Her long white silk tulle veil was held in place by a wreath of orange blossoms. A wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride's parents to twenty guests. The appointments were of yel. low- and white, Rev. and Mrs. Whitesell left immediately after the breakfast on a wedding trip to Washington. D. C., Philadelphia. Atlantic City au<J other points of interest. They will make the trip by automobiV and expect to be gone several weeks. Out-of-town guests who atended were Mrs C. C Whitesell and Mr. Oscar Whitesell. of Terre Haute; Mis? Clara Ferguson, Mrs. Rose Rush, Miss Martha Rush, Mrs. W. A. Howe, all of Bluff ton Ohio. Rev. Whitesell is a son oMr. and Mrs. C C. WTiitesell, of Terre Haute, and is a graduate of the Moody Bible Institute at Chicago. He studied four wears at the Northern Baptist 'Theological Seminary at Chicago, and had two years preparatory work at the William Jewell College at Kansas City. Rev. Whitesell has been pastor at t%e local Baptist Church of this city for the past trhe eand onehalf years. He resigned recently to accept a position as instructor in the Norther Baptist Theological Seminar;, The bride is a registered nurse having graduated form the Lutheran Hospital at Fort Wayne and until June 15 has been on duty at the local hospital since its dedication July 30, 1923. — —a— — The Kings Daughters class of the EvangalicaJ Sunday school will meet this evening at the home of Miss Reva Hammond, on Adams street at 7:30 o’clock.
