Tuesday morning, the Daily Democrat received through the mail a letter giving an account of the wedding of a popular young girl of Honduras. The article stated that Miss Mae Stoneburner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Amos Stoneburner, and Mr. Ralph Ernst, of Gary, Ind.. were married at Hillsdale, Mich . two weeks ago and that the marriage just became known. Mr. Stoneburner, together with Mr. Ernst, called at this office today and stated that the marriage did not take place. Mr. Ernst stated that he''had not been in Michigan for more than a yqar and the act. which some thoughtless person took for a joke, is greatly resented by Miss Stoneburner, her par ents and Mr. Ernst. The Daily Democrat regrets the article was printed and if the guilty person was found a public exposure would be made. The original copy was turned over to Mr. Stoneburner today and an effort will he made to locate the person who is trying to mind business other than his own.
