■'MANI TOURISTS ON ROMS SUNDAY “ I Hundreds Pass Through i Decatur; Roads Reported To Be Good Now i Hundreds ot tourists poured ' through this city al) day yesterday. The day was Ideal for motoring. A few cars bore licenses of eastern nnd' soiiiheru slates whoso owners arc taking advantage of the good weather 1 in ihe middle western states, but most cars were from Indiana. Ohio ; and Michigan. Os the constant stream that passed through Decatur, most motorists were loaded for Ohio, many equipped with fishing paraphernalia, to take advantage of the fishing season at the Celina-St. Marys reservoir and ' other Ohio lakes. Others were just motoring ami sight seeing. 1 Gasoline filling stations scattered in all parts of the city report a heavy business from transients yesterday. The majority of the tourists passed through in the afternoon and evening. At Celina, the shore of the reservoir was crowded with Indiana and Michigan cars and their occupants were busy fishing nearby. It is predicted that Decatur will be in oasis for tourists in the future, because of the good roads in this and adjoining counties. A state road and three national highways pass through the city. The scene of Hie double murder, north of here near Fort Wayne wasj one of the principal destinations for, motorists yesterday.
