Miss Agnes Kohne Sang At Rotary Club Meeting Th>‘ name of Miss Agnes Kohne, well known singer of this city, who sang several beautiful songs at the ladies' night entertainment given Thursday evening, by the Rotarians, wa.-j unintentionally ' omitted from the article telling of the event in last evening's Dally Democrat. Miss Kohne’s singing was a feature of the evening's program. She sang two besides favoring the Rotarians ami their guests with several encores.

Mummart, of College Pack, was elect , ed president of Huntington College Wednesday, I- -a one ye ar term, by |. the* board or education of the colI lege. Bishop Mummart succeeds D. I R. Ellabaigcr, who has been presii dent of the institution for the last ~ six years. ('. S. Mumma, of Decatur, scretary of the board, refused to say ! why the action had been taken. The board continued in session today. 1 Bishop Mummart was president of the college everal years ago and ala ways lias been connected with the institution, either as au instructor or us a member of the board of education. Mr. Ellabarger, the retiring president, took the position six years ago "'when ('. W. H. Bangs resigned in ’ order to continue* his studies at Columbia University. During Mr. Ellaburger's presidency the enrollment of the college has been more than doubled and educational standard raised. The state hoard of education is at | present considering Mr. Ellabarger's . endeavor to have* the college departI ment of th** school c ertified hy the* state so that the graduates may secure | provisional life licenses. o Bank Bandits Caught Ten Minutes After Hold-up — Toledo, May 2. Ten minutes after I they had held up the Ohio Savings 1 Bunk and Trust company, here today, hour bandits were captured in a near•by railroad yard. One of the bandits ; was seriously wounded when he attempted to break away from his caphors. All four refused to reveal their identity. They had secured four, thousand dollars. BOYS’ WEEK IS BROUGHT TO A ( LOSE TODAY (Continued from page tine) house, president, spoke a few words , to the boys. More than 200 boys intended the l.nakfast party and the Floy Scouts had charge of the serving. Arthur Suttles was chairman of the event and planned the arrangements, assist- ' ed i.y th * members of his committee. It was a fine turnout and everyone enjoyed the breakfast and hike Immensely. International Boys' Week, sponsored here by the Rotary Club, open ; ed last Sunday with boys' day in th*** c hurc hes. A special program was carried out every day. Monday was beys' day in school and evening at home. In the nfternoon speakers viabed the schools and talked to the boys and in the evening programs wen* held in the homes. On Tuesday the boy officials, elected on the lied ticket, held the city offices. On Wednesday, due to the rain, the outdoor athletic events were postponed. On Thursday, the boys and girls vis ited the industries, nearly 700 boyrf and girls taking part. On Friday aftenoon a parade of the boys and girls was held, it being loyalty and health day. After parading through the' principal streets of the city, the crowd of several hundred hoys and girls assembled liefore a platform on Liberty Way where three minute talks were given by French Quinn on' loyalty, and by Dr. L. E. Somers on health. The program this morning was the final event in the big program and. taking hoys' words for it. “it went over big." Coming home from the park. Col.
