He has served as pastor in a number of the largest churches of the conference and is a minister of rare attainuiejits, an earnest wroker for the cause to which he lias dedicated his life, a high class and capable man who will prove efficient in Ids work as superintendent. During their three years residence -in this city. Rev. and Mrs. Bridge have won tire hearts of all our citizens and our very

best wishes and love will follow them to their new home. Rev. F. burg. of Kokomo, a former pastor here, was also advanced to a superIntendency and will have charge of the Richmond district, much to the delight and pleasure of the hundreds here who hold him in highest regard. April 21 —The intei national Inaugural program of Radio Super Station WHT. which goes on ( tlie air from the Wrigiey Building Saturday evening. April 2-N will tie dedicated to the birthday of C.uglielmo Marconi, inventor of wireless, which falls on that date, it was announced today by George E. Carlson, general manager of the station. International opera stars, a half dozen nationally known popular songsters, equally prominent stage and radio artists and members of the staff personnel of the twelve other Chicago radio ptatfons ; wfHl parlicipate In the program which, preceded by a half-hour Test, will open at 8; 30 p. in. and last until dawn. j "April 25 was picked as the opening dale of the station so that tlie inauguration might appropriately fall upon the birthday of said Carlson.
