Gehrig, M. Miller, T. Gehrig, and C. Miller served dainty refreshments. "'The Giris' Missionary Guild of tlie Zion Reformed Church met at the home of Miss Eleanor Reppert last evening. Miss Guth was the assisting hostess. The meeting was opened with a song after which the scripture lesson was read by Emma , Guth, and prayer offered by Lina i Guth. The study of China was* in charge of Eleanor Reppert, Mildred Worthman. Jaunita Baumgartner, and Helen Kirsch. Della Sellemeyer read an interesting leaflet written by Miss Esther Selleineyer. Reports were read by delegates who attended the convention of the Fort Wayne Classes held at Huntington April 1 and 2. Miss Eleanor Reppert was appointed delegate to represent the entire Classis, which includes about eigh ' teen cities in this vicinity, at Hie Mid West Synod to lie held at Louisville, ! Ky., next fall. At the close of the Imsines meeting the hostesses served delightful refreshments. The Lailles' Aid Society of tlie Zion Itcflmtin-il Church wii hold a Colored Egg and pastry sale at the Liechtle Meat Market Saturday beginning at ten o'clock. April 8 Many prominent Jay comity farmers say that the present drought here is causing much damage to tin- wheal crop.
