that he heard a muffled explosion about 3:30 o'i lock In the morning und - immediately called Jesse Shafer, the proprietor of the gatage. Mr, Shafer went to the garage immediately but found no one there. Mr. Shafer's Investigation nt the garage showed that, the yeggs had used their coats to put over the safe In muffle the sound of the explosion. Th« first door of the safe was open but the second door lock hold and the yeggs were unable to get to the compartment containing valuable papers. Nothing of much value was taken from safe The cash draw ers were rirtan and from them the yeggs obtained between $lO and sl2 in cash. Tools obtained from the parage were used by the yeggs in their work and these wor» left In the sale.
