Upp - / ‘‘Wabash Smothered in 'Post-seas-on Gridiron Battle' at Fairmount" reads a headline in the Wabash TimesStar. After reading the story under the above headline and perusing the column of our good friend Just Courting. we tame to the conclusion that the basketball game between Wabash and Fairmount in the latter city Saturday night must have been slightly rough. Fairmount won 51-18. Following the Washington-Vin-cennes game at Vincennes Friday night, which was won by Vincennes, 41-40, Alice of Old Vincennes said to Martha Washington, “Now. Martha, what did I tell you?” Martha replied, “Its better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all." Out of Bounds at Bluffton has decided that if Lancaster comes to Decatur for the sectional tourney, the Yellow Jackets will be the only team that need be feared, since the Hob Cats handed Kirkland a 28-22 defeat here Saturday night. You’d better not count Kirkland and Berne out yet. LMHMliiihmii imiimiiwif i— ..jii.it
