FARMERS BEADY FOR MERCHANTS Big Ticket Sale For Game; Merchants Sign More Players Tickets are selling rapidly, the tram are practicing early nnd late and all arrangements arc complete for the big basketball classic. The fanners are optimistic over their c hances and send word to Mr. Vance to sign up. till the players he wants. The Washington township farmers are on their toes, too. and are ready to challenge the winner of Wednea-; day night's game for another contest.] It is reported that several Washington township farmers are holding practice sessions in Russell Howman' barn. MUCH INTEREST IN NET TOURNEY Indications Are That County , Tournament Will Be Interesting With interest mounting to fever' heat and the ticket sale progressing nicely, indications are that the Adams county basketball tournament' Io lie held in this city Frida*' night' and Saturday, will be a highly sue-1 cessl'ul and interesting affair. Each ’ school will be represented by a large' tielegation of rooters, judging from the number of tickets each school is selling. Season tickets are selling for fifty cents each, while general admission will be twenty-five cents. The season ticket will admit tile hold or to four sessions. Season tickets Inay be secured from John Shirk, at the Teeple . & Peterson store in this city. The tournament will get tinder way Friday evening, when the grade i school teams play their first round ] at the old high school gymnasium ] The high school girls and the high j school boys will start their tournament at the new high school gym on | Saturday morning.
