Thanks, old man. i and please except our best wishes for a Merry Christmas. We see where Pete Byerly and Bill Bryan, two Kirkland township athletes who are well know to Decatur basketball fans, are playing with the North Manchester College quintet made two field goals and Bill caged one. Earlham won by one poiiw 33-32. Pete made ten points against Huntington College the other night. > Slim Gallion, the lanky center on the Hartford City team who was allconference center last year while playing with Purdue, is one of the most polished eagers who has performed here for some time. He shoots iwith ease, passes with speed and accuracy and has lots of speed. Tip-offs of Bluffton says: “The onepoint defeat taken by the Tiger squad of Bluffton high at the hands of Warren last Saturday evening has engendered more fight into the team and it } looks very much like Decatur’s Yellow Jackets are going to experience' some real stiff opposition when they strike the Tiger arena here, next Friday evening.’’ I Here’s wishing you all a Merry Christmas. Come on Santa, do your stuff.
