There is no personal benefit to be derived by any of the men from the project, and they are to be commended for being willing to shoulder this burden for the good of the town. Widdows and Egly are both experienced business men and Shepherd is a graduate civil engineer with considerable practical experience and a fire insurance agent as well, with a knowledge of insurance risks, and what is more important yet, all three have a reputation for personal Integrity. Mr. Cole was al the Tuesday evening meeting with a blueprint of the town showing the proposed water mains, etc, and with a rare estimate made by his engineer which emphatically stated he would guarantee to cover all expense of installing the system, excepting only the meters and curiously, the estimate was $33,Odb. within less than a thousand dollars of his own rough estimate made
