Pa.—An idea in higher education associated with the lift? two story “cathedral of learning" in Pittsburgh has been argued across the continent. The idea springs from John G. Bowman, chancellor of the University of Pittsburgh. The “cathedral of learning" is to be a Gothic building rising from a base 36<i feet long and 260 feet wide to a height of 680 feet. Built of limestone, in the center of a fourten acre quadrangle, it will house 12.000 students in classrooms, libraries, shops, laboratories, and recreation centers. For the first time in the history of education all of the schools of a big university except those of medicine and dentistry will be centralized in one building.

He takes exercises to strengthend his muscles. The hospital physi - cians are studying Mark's case in an effort to cure the lad of the di iabilities caused from infantile paralysis a few years ago.
