Hoover Says Business Is On A Finn Footing (United Press Service) Washington, Nov. 25 October industrial and commercial activity indicated busim-ss is now on a firmer footing than at any time in recent years. Bank Robbers Get Less f In Indiana This Year (United Press Service) I Indianapolis. Nov. 25 Indiana bunks have lost only about one-half as much to bunk robla-rs this year as they did in 1923. according to a report of the Indiana Hanker s Association today . The report attributed this to the ' fact that banks are taking better protective measures. More banks are installing modern alarms devices, better vaults and sates and are arming their employes. Robbers obtained $85,930 last year while this year the total Jias reached only 42.000.
