In view of the fact that only too recently we as a whole people had the worth of the Red Cross demonstrated, when “The Greatest Mother in the Worltf,” ministered to the American Army in the World War, makes it unnecessary to speak of its merits. ■ / g We have been taught to think of the Red Cross as being in need only in time of war. We must be taught to think of the Red Cross as a perpetual institution for the emergenZ Ml cies of both war and peace. Disaster is not limited to either time or place. What recentll® % ly happened to Lorain, Ohio, last July, may happen in Decatur, Indiana. The watchword of the Red Cross is “We Are Ready.” Decatur owes the Red Cross | 1000 memberships. Will one of these memberships represent YOU? Have YOUR dollar ready for the solicitor. | Be one of those who proudly wear the little button, that silently preaches of the two .
