County, at 4 o clock Wedneday after- < noon, following an illness of cancer of the stomach and liver. Mrs'. Droege < was the wife of Henry Droege. The deceased wias a daughter of i Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Gallmeier, and was born in Preble township, Febru- ■ ary 27, 1854. She spent her entiro life in Preble township and Allen ■ county. Mrs. Droege Is survived by her husband; three daughters, Mrs.,' Henry Krone, of Fort Wayne, nnd 1 Miry and Amelia Droege, at home; four sons, William D. Droege. of Ft. Wayne, and Conrad, Henry and Al-i fred, who residp near their parents’| home; three brothers. Fred, Ernesti and Henry Gallmeier, of Preble township; one sister. Mrs. Andrew' Fuhr- ■ man. of Preble township; and thirteen 1 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held from the home at one o’clock and from the St. Johns Lutheran church, of which the deceased was a member, at 1:3), o’clock Sunday afternoon.
