exponents of the same style of play meet in the Illinois memorial stadium here today In a game whch may determine the football championship of the Big Ten conference of the mid diewest. . lowa’s Hawkeyes, coached by Burt Ingweraon, a graduate of the Hob Zupp school of football at Illinois brings his team into the game with an almost even chance against Zappke's conference leading warriors. Critics say the two teams look just alike in the field. The Hawkeye goal has not been crossed this year, although the team was held to a scoreless tie by Ohio State. The Maroons outweighed them 16 pounds to the • man on an average. o •Yale Meets The Army (United Press Service) New Haven, Conn., Nov. I—Yale's crippled varsity and the rugged huskies from West Point gathered here today for what has been tagged for years as the annual battle between the Bulldog and the mule. Yale and the Army are among the biggest attractions in football. With eye to the gate Tex Richard might offer them more than he gave Dempsey and Firpo, to fight in his Jersey City bowl. oYellow Jackets Play Muncie Bear Cats Today Coach Marshall led his fighting Yellow Jackets to Muncie this morning to battle the Muncie high school Bearcats in what was expected to be a hard-fought game this afternoon. I The Yellow' Jackets were full of fight and were far from being down-heart- , ed as they left this morning. With ' victories in their credit in the last two ’ games, the Yellow Jackets were de- | termined to whip the mighty Bearcats today and upset the "dope.”
