I One of the cleverest parties of the [season was given by Miss Urcile Amspatigh last evening, in a vacant house on the Henry Rodenback farm, four and one-half miles from town. The house was decorated with corn shocks, autumn leaves and streamers of black and yellow paper suspended from the ceiling. The music loom was banked with autumn leaves and a Victrola furnished the music for the evening. After the guests arrived at the farm they were forced to walk a short distance to the house while weird noises were heard from every direction.. The guests were directed, one at a time, to proceed through the gate, into the hou e where a ghost greeted them with a clammy hajpl shake. A flash light picture was taken of the group. After playing games they were ushered up a wind- | ing stairway through a dimly lighten- [ cd room and narrow path way where each guest's fortune was told. At a late hour delicious refreshments were served in Hallowe en style. The
