Decatur Chapter No. 127, Order of Eastern Stars, held a most delightful social and business meeting in the Masonic rooms last evening, when impressive initiatory services were rendered for the following candi dates: Mrs. Josephine Robinold, Miss Anna Carlisle, Mrs. Ruby Durkin. Mrs. Riley Chrisman. Miss Ruth Vizard. Mrs. Frank Carrell, and Miss Eva Acker. During the course of a short business session, Worthy Matron. Leona Graham, read a clever piece of verse, urging all Stars to vote on election day. Plans were also completed for a Benefit Bridge Party to be given in the Masonic Hall on the evening of November 13th. Both Bridge and .”•00 will feature the evening’s entertainment and all Eastern Stars and their friends are asked to reserve this date. The proceeds of the party will be sent to the Masonic Orphan’s Home at Franklin. At the close of the meeting, the refreshments committee comprised of Mrs. Maud Dorwin. Mrs. Ivdia Elzey and Mrs. J. H.
