HOME TAIENT PLAY PLEASES High School Auditorium Well Filled For Production Last Night The high school auditorium was well filled last night when the com edy. "The Microbe of Love,” was pre seated by local talent under the auspices of the Ladies' Aid Society of the Christian church. The play was very ably presented and the audience was well pleased with the produc tion. The play was directed by Miss Hazel Lee Shoffner. a director with the Wayne P Sewell Lyceum and Producing company. Miss Shoffner took the leading part in the play, also, and delighted the audience with her acting The songs and other musical numbers were caljtliy and entertaining. The proceeds derived by the Ladies' Aid society will be applied to the church building fund Bluffton—Quick work on the part of employes at a stone quarry here saved the life of Gerald Helter, 5, whose clothing caught in a rapidly revolving line shaft. Clinton —Ten nationalities are represented in the English and citizenship classes here with an attendance iof 53 adults. Leporte —Four men repairing the tunnel outlet from the water hazard of the Leporte country club escaped -serious injury when they were swept S(H) feet to the tunnels mouth and out into Pine Like when 290,000 gal ions of water from the hazard broke loose. Fort Wayne—Suit has been filed by Isaac Jones against William Duetrich. of Angola, whose automobile rammed into the Jones house and knocked down the chimney. Indianapolis—Signs of winter here Mrs. Glenn Brown reported a shed in the rear of their home was entered and half a ton of coal stolen. Address Box 10 care Democrat office. 235t3x o — Radio Interference Located Yesterday The interference with local radio receiving sets was located yesterday by several local fans at the Equity Exchange elevator where a "leaky” .electric switch was found. The switch was repaired by an electrician and the trouble all eliminated. Although the owners and operators of the Equity Exchange elevator were not to blame for the condition of the switch, they being unmindful of the trouble, the interference was so great that none of the sets in the city could be tuned in on programs being broadcast throughout the country. o Miifi Mary Brodbcdk v sited her brother, J.
