COUNTY RECORDER MAKES A REPORT Mortgages For First Six Months Almost Equal To Deeds Filed According to the six months’ report prepared by County Recorder Joseph McConnell, the amount of mortgages filed or. farm lands, lots, city and town property, and school fund mortgages was within a few thousand dollars of the total of the deeds recorded in the county from January 1, to July 31st. Eighty-seven deeds for SI.OO considerations were recorded during this period and it is not known what the total value of these transfers would amount to. During the six months the following number of deeds were recorded'. Warranty, quit claim, executors, administrators, commissioners and guardians' deeds. 275, value $600,332; Sheriff’s deeds, 2, value, $5,356; auditor’s deeds. 1. value $18; one dollar considerations only, 87; all other Papers filed, 206. The mortgages filed on farm lands, numbered 135 and totaled $503,320, while the releases on farm mortgages totaled 138 and the amount, $472,568. The mortgages on lots and city property totaled 72 and ttle amo «nt, $94,051, while the releases recorded were 71 with a value of $105,431.
