Mrs. John Gross, of Mitchell, Is also a guest of the Schirack home. The Misses Mary Tutigk and Edna Willem have returned to their homes at Indianapolis after spending a week here visiting friends and relatives. Ralph Butler will return tomorrow from Terre Haute where he- spent several days visiting Mr. and Mrs. J. 8. Peterson and daughter, Shirley Jeanne. Mrs. D. F. Leonard and daughter, Berniece and son, James and Miss Jirene Gregory are enjoying a several days outing at Lake James. Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Patterson and children, James, Sarah Jane and Robert motored to Gary today to visit friends. Richard Schug, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Schug, underwent a tonsil and adenoid operation at the Adams county hospital Saturday. He is recovering satisfactorily. Christian Macy is assisting at the American Security Company during the absence of Miss Winifred Kitson who is enjoying a two-week's vacation at Indan Lake. Miss Ann Overman returned last evening to her home at Louisville. Ky., after spending the week end as the guest of Mrs. Raymond Kohne. E. F. Gass made a business trip to Fort Wayne this morning. Miss Thelma Kern, of Ft. Wayne, is visiting relatives here. Mrs. Verna Avery spent the week end at Fort Wayne visiting friends and relatives. Richard Moran will return to Crook ed Lake this evening after spending the week end with his mother, Mrs. J. C. Moran. Richard is spending the summer at the cottage of his aunt, Mrs. Golden, of Fort Wayne. Mrs. Sam Butler is visiting her daughter. Mrs. Ross Tindall, and family at Van Wert. Free Frisinger of Akron, Ohio, spent the week end with his mother Mrs. Jane Frisinger, of Mercer Ave. Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Hite spent the afternoon at Lima, Ohio, visiting relatives. Miss Margaret Moran. Jr., left this morning for Indianapolis to attend the funeral services for Mrs. Dan Moran, who died at the St. Vincent Hospital Friday. The deceased is survived by her husband and two small children. She was a niece of the late A meeting of the directors of the Decatur Industrial association will be held this evening at seven o’clock at the industrial rooms. All members are requested to be present as business of importance will be disposed of. A meeting of the Rotarians will be held this evening at seven o’clock at the Old Adams county bank to make arrangements for the Rotary Guest day in this city on August 13th. when Bob Heun, governor of Indiana Rotary will be honored guest. Complaint On Note A complaint on a note has been filed in the circuit court by Kraus and Apfelbaum, incorporated, aganst Paul H. Reiter, demanding judgment for $250. Attorneys Shambaugh & Shambaugh represent the plaintiff. Letters Issued Letters of administration have been issued to George W. Knittie in the estate of Mary A Knittile. Bond in the sum of $3,200 was filed.
