The official fishing season opens next Sunday and several of the oldtime fishermen of this city are planning to go to the lakes and enjoy revernl days of the sport. The small I round tables were covered with clever creation of black and white crepe paper, the colors of the sorority. 1 White tapers placed on each table furnished the lighting during the banquet. Bob Hine's five-piece orchestra. of Van Wert, Ohio, furnished the music for the dancing which continued until twelve o’clock. The ball room was unusually attractive with the orchestra In the center of the room enclosed in a fence of lattice |wo:k, interlaced with black and . while crepe paper and spring flowers. Japanese lanterns were strung from j each corner of the room meeting in , the center forming a soft light. Large baskets of spring flowers were placed on pedestals and the radiators. Twenty-five couples, which il> j eluded the sorority members and their escorts, attended the pretty affair. w The dance at the Masonic Hall will begin at 8:30 o'clock this evening with Shrimp Lawson's Band furnishing the music.
