ANNUALCLASS DAY EXERCISES High School Classes Gavel Stunts At Auditorium Thursday The annual Class Day exercises were held yesterday at the high school auditorium during which time members of each class gave stunts. The freshmen had a very interesting Part in the program, a feature of which was two numbers, “When j Lovey Came Back," and "Someone 1 Stole By Gal." by the quartette composed of Helen Dorwin, imitating Diz Steele; Betty Erwin, as Deane > Dorwin; Lillian Worthman, as Leah (olter, and Ruth Engle, as Naomi This was followed by a cornet solo by Lloyd Ahr, witli an encore "Peoples Have More Fun Than Anyone Else," by Russell Baumgartner, who held only the instrment while Lloyd Ahr played behind the scenes. Jeanette Beery, at the piano, and Vere Welker, at the drums, played a very pleasing number, imitating Billy Butler and Don Farr. The entire class assembled and sang several high school songs and gave a number of yells, which concluded their part of the program. The Sophomores gave a very entertaining musical program in which Miss Doris Peters violinist, had a part. An orchestra composed of members of this class played several numbers. Miss Lucile Engle read the sum- | mary of the year’s work of the senior I class after which Don Farr read the I class will. The class prophecy was dramatized and proved to be very en- 1 tertainlng. A feature of the senior program was "Ag" Sellemeyer's chau-' tauqua troupe: Galli Curci, Josephine Suttles; Alma Gluck. Ruth Castle; Jules Heifeitz, Don Farr; Mme. Paderwskl, Billy Butler, who gave several vocal, violin and instrumental selections. Class songs and yells by the assembled class were followed by the prestntation of a beautiful dresser set to Miss Agnes Sellemeyer, as a token of appreciation to her as being their class guardian. The gift to the 'high school, two cement ferneries and two stone benches were unveild and presented by the class president. At 5 o'clock the Seniors enjoyed a picnic supper.
