TEAM OPENS SEASON SUNDAY r Local Baseball Team Goes j To Auburn For Game; Hindered By Rain k The General Electric baseball team will play its first game next Sunday 1 at Auburn and a number of rooters r are planning to accompany the team ( to that city. The game is called for three o'clock and the Auburn team is making arrangements for one of the I biggest games of the season. The wet weather has delayed the , erection of the grand stand on Ahr's . field, which the G. E. Athletic Association has leased, and the rains have ( also interferred a little with the prac- , tice. If weather conditions permit practice will be held on Saturday afternoon. The permanent lineup has not yet been selected but following , the practice Saturday afternoon players for the Auburn ganle will be se- , lected. , The G. May 15. —Sunday and "Ma" arrived from Memphis in their special car early today and were taken direct to the Kahler hotel by Dr. J. W. Ytayo, a friend of the famous evangelist.
