Local degelates to the annual con ference of the Presbyterian Mission ary Society of the Fort Wayne Presbytery have returned from Fort Wayne where they attended the two days' session held ut Bethany Presbyterian church. Among those from Ulis city who attended were, Mrs. B. N. Covert, wife of Rev. Covert, pas tor of the local Presbyterian church, Mrs. Charles Teeple, Mrs. S. D. Bea vers. Mrs. J. C. Sutton, Mrs. W. H I<ee. Mrs. Frank France and Mrs. J. R. Horton. The program during the two days was splendid. At the Friday morning services,*Mrs. Teeple, lead in the devotionala. Special addresses were made by the field secretary of the Presbyterian board of New York City, by Dr. Fred Hope, in charge of the work in Southern Africa. Mrs. K A. McCray, synodical president. Indi anajMilia and by Miss Isabelle Cooper of Howe. Indiana.
